C. Pierce Farms Shooting Preserve has been in operation since 1987. It was opened by Cedric E. Pierce, an expert bird hunter and dog trainer. Throughout the years that his business has been open, he has passed his expert knowledge on to his son, Gray Pierce and his staff of hunting guides and dog trainers. Gray Pierce now runs C. Pierce Farms Shooting Preserve and continues the traditions that his father started.

C. Pierce Farms Shooting Preserve is located 5 miles east of Ahoskie, NC. The Shooting Preserve has a hunting lodge that is equipped to house eight people. It also offers kennel space for hunters who stay over night and bring their own dogs.
